Fees

The centre’s daily and weekly fees are determined by the Co-operative, at either a General or Annual General Meeting. Parents are advised of all fees increases with a minimum of 6 weeks notice.

Family accounts are issued fortnightly, charged at two weeks in advance. Payments can be made via direct deposit. Details of these payment options can be found in your enrolment pack.

All new families are required to pay a one-off administration payment of $100 upon enrolment. Families are also required to take up Co-operative Membership: one share per family for $1.

Our current daily fee is $145

The centre is registered to receive Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR) – both of these can lower your fees. All parents are entitled to apply through Centrelink/Family Assistance Office. Please see the Director or Administration Officer for more information.

Parent Participation

DSCCC is a community-managed co-operative. Parent participation not only helps to maintain a community environment but also assists to reduce the centre’s costs and direct as many of its resources as possible towards the care of children.

At enrolment, each family pays a $150 participation levy. This levy rolls over each year and is refunded when a child leaves DSCCC if the family has contributed 12 hours of voluntary assistance towards the centre in each calendar year. Please refer to the Parent Participation form for more information and to nominate interested areas of involvement, or see the director for more details.
